Office flooring, whether wooden or carpet, goes through a lot of wear and tear. Since it is so costly to furnish an office, you cannot be changing the carpet or flooring every year. These mats have cleats on the underside which keep the chair mat in place on the carpet.

Most offices these days have computer workstations which are at risk by static electricity generated. Static discharge can cause malfunctions, component failures; thus it is very important to go for an anti static computer chair mat for office use.
